Dog Grooming

We are primarily an all-inclusive, full-service professional grooming salon. Our services include everything your dog will need to come away with a healthy, clean, and beautiful coat. He/she will be feeling fresh and happy. Our comprehensive services include:

• Massaging bath with specialty shampoos and conditioners designed for your pet’s coat type
• Blueberry facial to exfoliate and hydrate the skin and coat around their face and eyes
• Complete blow dry of their coat to a natural precondition for the optimal haircut condition
• Haircuts can be breed-specific or customized to the desired look with both clippers and hand scissoring
• Feet are pampered with proper nail care, including dremeling, if tolerated
• Ear care includes cleaning and plucking, when needed
• Anal gland expression is included, upon request
• Matching finishing spray

Doodle Program

Whether you have a Labradoodle, Goldendoodle, Aussiedoodle, Bernedoodle, Cavapoo, Maltipoo, Cockapoo, Sheepadoodle, or Poodle, those beautiful coats need all of our help to maintain them. As these poodle and doodle mixes have continued to develop, we are seeing so many differences in coat characteristics. You and your neighbor may have the same exact dog, but VERY different coats.

Our method for grooming by time is so important for these breeds. Other factors in time are your pet’s behavior for the grooming process, how much brushing you do at home, the length you are keeping your dog’s coat, you and your dog’s lifestyle.

Does your dog go to doggie daycare, swimming, or a weekly doodle romp? More than likely, they are a harder coat to maintain. Add to that, if you like to keep it long and/or you don’t do much brushing. No judgment, but in order to keep that coat, we have to groom on a very regular schedule.

We have found that the only way to maintain these coats is to develop a program that we require all doodle clients to commit to upholding. We will work with you to devise a plan that takes all of these factors into account. Likely, we will need to see your pup every four to six weeks.

There are outliers. If you like your dog’s coat to be 1 ¼” or longer, we will likely need to see you every few weeks. If their coat is a straighter coat or you go short, we can see you about every eight to ten weeks.

We will mutually discuss the best timeframe. However, we do have to insist on this timeframe in order to continue to be a client. The work is difficult to do, both behaviorally and on a groomer’s body, if we don’t maintain these guidelines. We are committed to you, but just as committed to our valued employees.

Express Service

Although our service is nearly straight through, it is occasionally necessary, for your pet’s well-being, to provide an express service.  There are specialized benefits to an express groom:

• One-on-one care with your pet and the groomer from start to finish
• Preserves your pet’s time, in our care, to an absolute minimum
• Optimal option for anxious, elderly, or health-compromised pets

When your groomer has dedicated time to your pet, we do not book additional pets and block off time until completion of groom. We offer a straight through service for an additional fee of $20 – $60, depending on time needed, above the cost of the regular grooming.

Express Service
