What to Get Your Dog for Christmas

What to Get Your Dog for Christmas

Every year in my house, our dogs always had their own stockings hung and a few gifts wrapped under the tree. They were always filled with fun toys and treats, and we always thought it was so cute to watch them unwrap their gifts with the rest of us! Wondering what to get your dog for Christmas this year? Check out our list below!

1. A Big Ol’ Bone to Chew On

Seriously, you cannot go wrong with this. We recommend Pet ‘n Shape Beef bone. It’s big, it’s beefy, and it’s all natural so your dog is sure to love it. They’ve also got smaller options for our little furry friends. An added bonus: if you give this to your dog last, they’ll be focused on the bone while you finish up opening gifts and cleaning up the wrapping paper mess.

2. A Visit to the Spa

Everyone feels great when they have a day at your spa and your dog is no exception.  How about a blueberry facial or maybe a moisturizing pad treatment.  Contact us to learn more about our spa day or book an appointment.

3.  A New Dog Bed

It can be as simple or as fancy as you like! There are tons of varieties out there to choose from. If you have a senior dog with bad joints, consider an orthopedic dog bed to help ease their discomfort. If you’re super girly and you’ve got a little dog like a chihuahua or Pomeranian that you want to spoil, check out princess dog beds that look like little plush sofas or four-post beds, super chic! Afraid to go the bed route because you’ve got a major chewer on your hands? Check out the K9 Ballistics Chew Resistant dog bed! It will provide your pup with a place to lounge without you having to worry about coming home to bed stuffing strewn all over the place.

4.  A Bacon Bubble Machine for Dogs

Yes, you read that correctly. The Bubbletastic Bacon Bubble Machine is just like a normal bubble machine, but the bubble liquid is flavored and scented like bacon, which is sure to make your dog go wild. Not only will your dog love chasing after and popping the bubbles, everyone in your household will get a kick out of it too. Really, this is like a gift for the whole family.

5.  Some DIY Dog Treats

There are endless recipes on the internet for fun and festive treats, and most of the ingredients can already be found laying around your kitchen. With simple ingredients like whole wheat flour and peanut butter, chances are you’ll be able to whip these up in no time. They can also be a fun activity to do with your kids, and they’ll feel great about making cooking not only for Santa but for their pup, too.

6. Still Stumped?

We carry a wide variety of holiday and winter-themed collars, leashes, bow ties, and hair bows. Many of our cat and dog collars are artisan-made and are different from what you will find elsewhere. Our cookies are a great treat for your furry family member or make a great gift for your friend or neighbors’ pup.

Hopefully, we helped you figure out what to get your dog for Christmas.  Any of these items will make the holiday special for your four-legged best friend.
